About Me!
Long past her days of using Bratz Dolls as vehicles for elaborate storylines, Yasmine Crawley is a dynamic writer and producer who loves to craft emotionally resonant and relatable narratives. Her work makes her audience feel seen no matter which genre she chooses to tell a story from. She writes for all age ranges and can adapt her skillset to fit a variety of needs ranging from screenwriting to brand identity to experiential narratives. She is a true multi-hyphenate creative.
Yasmine most enjoys using her creative writing skills to be a voice for the underrepresented, as accomplished in her short film In Good Hands. This debut film was selected for ABFF’s 2025 HBO Short Film Award Showcase. In Good Hands reflects the types of stories that Yasmine is drawn to: slice of life content that centers diverse characters with grounded, relatable conflict.
This focus on empathy-driven storytelling was shaped early in her career. Yasmine began her professional journey at a psychiatric hospital, where she cared for children who taught her a thing or two about resilience and dark humor. Though she initially planned to start grad school and become a therapist, her gap year at the hospital reignited her passion for storytelling, so she pivoted toward film and television.
In a seamless transfer of skills, Yasmine got her start in the entertainment industry as a CBS Page. She’s currently a Production Associate and Administrative Assistant at Paramount’s See It Now Studios and is based in NYC.
